We are now taking enrolments for Term 1, 2012 commencing on the 8th of February.

The Familial Trust Children's Group is for children aged between 5 and

13 years who are affected by another family members addiction.

Often, children from addicted homes have difficulty having fun and

being playful and take themselves too seriously.

Our group provides a safe place for children to come along and have

fun.  Through attending our group and having fun the children learn:

safety, boundaries, routines, it's ok to say no, they're not alone,

self-esteem & confidence, trust, sharing, social skills and positive

modelling of behaviour through leaders.

We have set criteria in place for enrolling children to ensure their safety.

For more information on this please contact us.

We welcome people who would like to come on board as a group leader.
(please see Information/Newsletters/Issue 3, 2011 for more about how to become a Children's Group Leader)

For further information about becoming a leader please contact us.

Consumers Corner

Familial Trust Consumer Group

The Familial Trust is an organisation that is staffed at all levels by trained consumers, including consumer representation at Board level.  Underpinning the service delivery is an active Consumer Group responsible for providing feedback about the Trust’s services to management and the Board of Trustees.  Consumers have a valuable and powerful voice and this voice can be used to bring recognition and support for a service that has brought sanity and serenity to so many of us.

This is your opportunity to give back to Familial Trust.  Please come along to our next meeting to discover more about how you can be involved.
