About Jonathon

Jon brings a wealth of financial expertise and a deep commitment to community service to the Treasurer role of the Familial Trust. Born and raised in Christchurch, he has always valued the importance of family and community. He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Canterbury, followed by professional qualifications as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst while working at PwC.

Jon's career has been marked by diverse experiences, including roles in the finance services, real estate and media sectors while in Australia, where he gained valuable insights into managing corporate finance functions. Returning to Christchurch, he currently serves as a Finance Manager at Craigmore Sustainables, where his strategic financial acumen continues to make a positive impact.

Jon views this opportunity as a way to apply his skills and qualifications towards a meaningful cause and believes in the mission of Familial Trust and is committed to contributing his expertise to its objectives.

Jon enjoys activities such as dancing Ceroc, hiking the landscapes of New Zealand and sharing moments with family over board games.
